Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro Design
the Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro it certainly looks and feels premium although that design not too dissimilar from previous Motorola flagships if you had last year’s Edge for instance probably got a serious case of Deja vu going on reasonably skinny and not super heavy at 199 grams certainly compared with some Flagship phones feels rather nice to clutch as well thanks to the skinny build as you can see there the screen does actually slope around the edges just to cut down on the overall girth and yeah.
It may look the dog’s dangles but I have had some issues with responsiveness normally everyday operation absolutely fine but when I am spread out on my back on the sofa or something like that I have noticed when I’ve been clutching the phone a bit tighter sometimes my parkland swipes don’t quite register as well and also when I’m using the Mortal Edge 4 he Pro as a camera occasionally my thumbs and fingers will just intrude on the screen and when I’m hitting that shutter button it ain’t doing out you’ve got Gorilla Glass vicus up front about this phone stuffed in a pocket with a couple of other phones.

Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro Display
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro screen is a 6.67 inch P OLED display very similar to what we saw on last year’s Edge 30 Ultra with of course very skinny bezels and curved edges as I already mentioned and as you would expect from a premium blower it is a rather Lush panel as well you got yourself a full HD Plus resolution here so not a Quad HD like some Rivals but it’s certainly crisp enough to keep those visuals looking mighty fine you’ve got full HDR templates and Dolby Vision support as well.
While some competitors like Samsung only offer the HDR 10 plus so certainly when you are streaming it’s your supported content on the likes of Netflix your Disney pluses whatever else it is a feast for the eyes those colors can really pop as well depending on what color mode you have the Motorola Edge 40 Pro Set to it it’s natural by default but you can boost them up a bit and that screen actually maxes out at 165 Hertz refresh rate as well.
Which is one of the better efforts out there certainly ideal for gamers who want to play in one of the small selection of supported titles and at its peak this screen cannot be boosted to well over a thousand nits or absolutely no issues with outdoor visibility even with a sudden and unexpected re-emergence of the sun here in delight so overall great stuff.
Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro Performance
The performance section and it’s probably not a massive shock and surprise that the Motorola Edge 40 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon it’s Gen 2 just like the majority of other Flagship phones. that’s backed here by up to 12 gigs of ddr5 RAM which is what I’ve got here on my review sample and as you can see they’re really strong geek bench six scores especially that multi-core score topping 5 000 some serious crotch thrust and action going on there and so yeah as you would expect your everyday Shenanigans is creamy smooth here on the edge 40 Pro and Gamers should enjoy blazing their way through.
The likes of gentian impact and other memory guzzling Android titles as well when I did start playing Genii and impact on the highest detail settings I did notice the frame rate was a little bit unstable must have just been a case of early nerves though because it quickly settled down and it was absolutely fine after that nice fluid bit of action the screen is responsive.

I didn’t have any issues with the fact that it was curved at the very edges and while the back end of the phone certainly got a little bit toasty after I’d been gaming for more than about 30 or 40 minutes it didn’t seem to impact the performance again and if you want to fully immerse yourself get really stuck into your game as well while you’ve got that mortal Game Time menu which could be swiped out at any point dishes up quite a few decent little features like the usual do not disturbs you can record the action as well tweak the screen sensitivity if you find it’s just not quite right.

I’ve had the screen on for an hour and a half demonstrating all the various features do you find folk at home streaming a bit of YouTube but these are all kinds of stuff and as you can see here it’s only drains 10 of that battery so I found that even with about five or six hours of screen on time throughout the course of a day.
