Vivo Y20 Design & Build Quality
Vivo Y20 build quality, design and materials as I mentioned, you get a glass screen and a polycarbonate back, or plastic which is good in case it drops. It’s only 192 grams so it’s pretty fair. Color options for the Vivo Y20 are mainly 3, the Obsidian black, Dawn white and Purist Blue. I’m a fan of this design and it’s become popular of late and I also like that it’s a different shade of blue for the Obsidian Blue version.
Above it are the volume rocker keys. On the left side, we’ve got the SIM and Micro SD card slot. It’s the dual sim kind and no hybrid so you can put your micro sd and sims with no issues. Underneath the phone is the headphone jack, microphone, charging port and speaker. Up top is where you have the earpiece with the camera in the water drop notch beneath it and on the back is where we get the rectangular camera array section with the “Designed for Y Series” Inscription and logo right below.

Vivo Y20 Display
The display 6.51 inch LCD IPS display, pretty industry standard for the midrange market. It’s put in a water drop notch screen and it’s got the 2.5D curved glass screen going on. The aspect ratio on here is 20:9, Resolution is HD+ set at 1600 by 720p and it’s a medium density screen at 270 PPI or Pixel Per Inch.
You’ve also got dark mode on here. For a market like ours, where data can get quite expensive, this is a consideration for people who would be conserving their data since maximum streaming resolution is 720p up to 60fps so there’s that to note. You do notice the bottom bezel there too. I also found gameplay resolution to be sharp as well despite being a 720p screen.

Vivo Y20 Performance
Vivo Y20 comes with android 10 with funtouch OS 10.5 and a snapdragon 460 this is an 11 nanometer chipset this also has the arduino 610 GPU my version comes with 64 gigabytes of storage and four gigabytes of ram variant you can also get this in six gigabytes of rom when it comes to performance this is quite decent this is the geekbench score i was able to play some pubg here not at the highest settings of course the performance is one of the great features of this device considering the price point and for everyday usage this is just gonna be okay fantast os found on this is pretty cool too doesn’t come with a lot of bloatware on this device user experience is really cool this also supports dark mode.
Vivo Y20 Camera
the camera, Up front it’s a modest 8MP camera that would shoot a maximum of 1080p video in 30 frames per second. The back has a triple camera setup, 13MP wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor.
Vivo Y20 Battery
Vivo Y20 comes 5,000 mAh battery on here which has been good enough for me personally. I found standby time to be good and I also found usability for day to day quite good as well. Light use is fine and heavy use would get you up to a couple of hours left during the day. 30 minutes of gaming call of duty specifically took only 6% of battery out. From 51% it went down to 45%. On the matter of charging, I found the fast charger to be fast of course, although I do wish we had USB C but it does the job. You should get enough power to last you for over 50% of the next day till you need to charge again, and I really did like the standby time performance of the Y20.
